 An eight weeks Core Course on “The Conservation and Management of the Built Heritage’ was held in Jerusalem between March 3rd 2010 and May 17th,2010.

Results of this activity
The course was announced in local media and circulated among relevant local institution.
An Ideal programme with modular system for training based on the revised curriculum agreed with ICCROM, with both theoretical classroom-based training as well as practical training on the job training, using the project sites of rehabilitation work of the Old City of Jerusalem Revitalization Programme in the Old City.
The training course is attended by 12 participants (architects and engineers, both experienced and new graduates, as well as contractors working in conservation in Jerusalem). There were two participants from the previous core course 2009 whose permits were revoked half way through that course and not completed the modules , are attending the this core course .

The Welfare Association invited 11 local and international experts, with different specializations in the field of Conservation to train the participants.
